The Body Shop beauty class with Lensza.co.id and Holi Cat | #lenszaTBS

So as I mentioned in a previous post, I was selected to take part in The Body Shop's beauty class that's a joint event by The Body Shop, Lensza, and Holi Cat. The beauty class was today, and it was so much fun!

First, let's start with my major stupidity. Felicia from Lensza contacted all the participants with the time and place of the event. But somehow, Plaza Senayan registered in my head as Plaza Indonesia. I DON'T KNOW WHY. It's not like I've never been to both places. I practically went to Plaza Senayan every freaking day over the last two semesters! O_O It's just one of those moments when my brain autoloads and gets it all wrong then shuts down.

Anyway, since I went to the wrong mall first, I ended up arriving an hour late. The make up artist was already explaining the basic use of skin care by the time I got there. Fortunately, the actual make up process only started right after I took a seat.

Most of the skin care routine used TBS' Shiso range of products. For the color make up, we used the Colour Crush line. I love the Colour Crush line. The eyeshadows are gorgeous. The instructor showed us a slide that had a color chart of suitable eyeshadows based on what eye color a person has. I thought was pretty cool.

Apparently, the transformation of my face was so fascinating, I was awarded best make-up by the instructor. (This is true though, my face with and without make-up looks very, very different.) So I got to go home with extra freebies from TBS. In total, I got four products: Colour Crush eyeshadow in #210 Bronze Bliss which is a very pretty coppery bronze with shimmer, Born Lippy lipbalm in Strawberry (yay for lipbalm!), Colour Crush lip color in #225 Blushing Pink, and All-in-One BB Cream in #02.

Every participant also got a pair of Holi Cat softlenses from Lensza.co.id. I chose the color Sexy Gray, which looks very alluring. I can't wait to try them on. Loving the high BC.

All in all, it was a great event. I love beauty classes, because you always learn something new, even if it's a beginners' level beauty class. Plus, you get to meet a lot of new people! Cue selfie/wefie galore.
